Wondros Health is a clinical trials guide finder. This was an internal product created in an effort to simplify and create a comprehensive and accessible product that would filter for exactly what specifications the user was looking for. The challenge was to find ways in which we create a more understood and user friendly experience during an at times stressful and pressured time in the user's life. The current .gov landscape is highly dense and jargon-heavy making the experience frustrating and at times grueling process.
our findings
Because the standard resource, clinicaltrials.gov, can be dense with technical language and difficult to navigate, our goal was to translate that complexity into a more approachable, user-friendly experience
results
After continuous discussions with our lead product designer, UX researches, project managers, and integrating our engineers in the early stages of design we found a way to integrate a strong design system to create an accessible and user friendly experience. The homepage houses links to internal articles, guides to finding a trial, glossary definitions, and a way for the user to jump into finding a trial right away.
